It’s really not easy to tell such a simple story well, nothing grand or dramatic, but it’s relatable. Dianna Agron is getting better and better and she shines such a spotlight on this film. Are we all just digesting family trauma this year??? 3.8 there’re only two people in the audience :/ but we were both weeping lol

从童星再到博士，从国民大爆剧的女二再到导演，Mayim已经走过了条充满诸多不可能、却又让人羡慕的路。全员出色的演员配置很难不疑问什么它没有被上半年的“圣西翠”抑或下半年钟爱星光的多伦多相中，而草草沦为一部院线/VOD同发的周末电影，相信未来会更好。当然抛开这些，它是个充满张力的家庭故事以及基于私人经历出发充满温度的真诚分享。关于责任，界限以及创伤；镜头始终跟随家里的每个人，来了解它们所处的状态与经受的情绪；有自然而生的幽默，也有赤裸与诚实的痛苦。Candace与Dustin出色地掌舵了整部，但真正让它升华的是不断在进步的Dianna。
